“She’s bloody brilliant
What a Sydney principal said about his placement, two and a half weeks in.
Hi {{contact.first_name}},
At Law BizCon, a lot of the conversations at our stand came back to the same question: could a remote team member actually hold their own in a working law firm.
One of the attendees who took action after the event was a principal at a Sydney law firm. We placed Danica at his firm on 15th July.
He called me yesterday morning, and opened bluntly with “I want to share some feedback”.
Now, he’s not an easy man to impress, so even though I felt sure Danica was the right fit for this firm, the long pause that followed had me bracing for the worst.

Then he said, “She’s bloody brilliant”.
I smiled.
He went on to share three specific examples of the standout initiative that had prompted the feedback call, just two and a half weeks after Danica started at his firm.
What she did
1
She had been following an email thread between him and three stakeholders (two in Australia, one in the US). The moment they landed on a meeting time, she immediately sent a Teams invite to everyone involved without needing to be asked.
2
She diarised herself a reminder to prep his briefing note ahead of the meeting, ensuring he walked into that call fully briefed.
3
She even signed in on a Saturday morning to send him extra info prior to his Monday meetings.
Before Danica started, we’d written a 90 day training roadmap for the firm. The three-month target was for Danica to be proficient enough in her role that this principal and his senior lawyer could shift from operators to approvers.
Danica is already on track for them to be able to do that.
Two months ahead of schedule.
Why the first weeks matter
This kind of operational impact is exactly why we place so much importance on your initial onboarding weeks as a client of PLS.

The role is built properly first, with real discovery and a comprehensive position description written for your specific firm rather than a generic template.

We prepare a detailed training roadmap that names every responsibility and handover point.

And we help you implement an in-firm training method that ensures nothing has to be shown twice.
Danica was on real client work from day one. The principal has since asked us to find his firm two more hires.
If this is the kind of outcome you pictured when you scanned that QR code at the PLS stand, I’d love to talk you through what it could look like for your firm.
