The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers runs from 18 September to 5 October, and this is its 77th year. Floral Friday opens it on the 18th, the parade rolls through on the 19th, and the gardens stay open across the fortnight that follows.

Floral Friday, 18 September
The opening day of the Carnival, and the one most people build the weekend around.

The Grand Central Floral Parade
Saturday 19 September, through the middle of town. Get in early if you want somewhere to stand.

A fortnight of gardens
The competition gardens stay open right through to 5 October, so the quieter weekdays are worth considering.
